Itinerary

We start in the remarkable “La Vega Central” market, with more than 100 years old, where histrionic sellers, local restaurants and buyers of all social strata converge, standing out as a permanent point of popular life and patrimonial authenticity. We will continue towards the Plaza de Armas, passing through the Central Market (national monument). We will visit the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art, the Plaza de la Constitution and the Palacio de la Moneda, ending in a mythical restobar, notable space and famous for its unique preparations of typical foods and cocktails.

Taking a trip to Santiago’s famous markets is a must for anyone who wants to experience the depth and variety of Chilean food and culture. Over the course of one morning, we’ll travel to three of the city’s most popular markets: la Vega Central, la Vega Chica, and el Mercado Central.
